Back in the Hometown

Hi all.

Our little crew has landed in Greenville for a few days. It's been good to be here.

We've been with Greg's mom for the first few days and on Wednesday night will head over to Bruce's (Greg's dad) for a few days. It's a treat to share the time with them--and especially for the girls to get time with Greg's parents. The girls have mostly spent the days doing fun grandparent things (the park, the pool, etc).

For his part, Greg continues to labor in the library on French. One adverb at a time...

Here are some more pics from the road. Enjoy.

We love you.

C'mon... A month long road trip?

Hi all--Greetings from the road.

We left Charlottesville on Monday and are all in SC visiting family. Greg is on study leave, so he's spending every day the library learning French for his UVa program while the girls spend the day with cousins, Aunts, and Courtney's parents. The girls have been mostly in the pool and in the playhouse out back. We'll be in Florence until this Sunday and then on to Greenville to visit Greg's parents for the week. We'll check in along the way.

In the meantime, enjoy this hilarious glimpse of Annie Mac's emerging sense of humor.

Love to you. The Thompson crew.

The wonder of Baptism

Hi everyone--this past weekend, little Annie Mac was baptized into the church. The pastor reminded the lot of us that this little girl was being welcomed into her new community, and was the recipient of a Divine love so real that she would feel it run down her face. Pools of mystery.

We were grateful to have family visit us and to share the wonder together.

Love to you all.

Greetings from Life Together

Hi everyone--Greetings from the wonder of it all.

We'll be posting here in days to come so that we can, in some way, share this life together.

Enjoy.
